PRIVACY POLICY

Court Stats ("we", "us") is a basketball stat-tracking service available at courtstats.app and through our iOS app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions any time: support@courtstats.app.

Account information. Your name, email address, and password. Passwords are stored hashed — we cannot read them.

Content you add. Player names, optional profile photos, team names, opponents, and game statistics you record.

Billing information. Payments are processed by our payment providers; we never receive or store your full card number. We keep a record of your plan and feature usage (games and players counted against plan limits).

Technical basics. Standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) used to operate and secure the Service. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.

We use your information to provide and sync the Service across devices, enforce plan limits and process purchases, respond to support requests, and secure the Service. We also send a short series of onboarding emails after signup and may email you about your account; you can opt out of non-essential email by contacting support@courtstats.app. We do not sell your personal information.

Player profiles and game pages are designed to be shared: anyone with the link can view them without an account. Only share links you are comfortable making public. Removing the underlying content (or deleting your account) removes those public pages.

Accounts are for people 13 and older. Player profiles may describe minors (for example, a parent tracking their child's games); that information is entered and controlled by the account holder, who is responsible for any consent required. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 — if you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.

We share data only with the providers that run the Service:

• Convex — database and backend hosting
• Vercel — web hosting
• Stripe and Autumn — payment processing and billing
• Cloudflare — email delivery
• Apple — iOS app distribution

Each provider processes data only as needed to provide its service to us.

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account in the iOS app (Plan tab → Delete Account) or by emailing support@courtstats.app. Deletion permanently removes your account, players, teams, games, stats, photos, and our email-contact record. Records our payment providers are legally required to keep (such as transaction history) may be retained by them.

Data is encrypted in transit, passwords are hashed, and access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can do most of this directly in the app; for anything else, email support@courtstats.app and we will respond.

We may update this policy. If changes are material we will give notice (for example, by email or in the app) before they take effect. The effective date above always reflects the current version.
